Welcome to the Berliner Klavierfestival 2013.

Individuality, virtuosity, creativity, rich sounds, diverse interpretations, desire to experiment; all of these aspects characterize our very different pianists, whether internationally renowned or right at the beginning of their career. At the 2nd Berliner Klavierfestival you have the opportunity to experience these fascinating pianists up close.

Joining us in 2013 will be the exceptional composer-pianist Marc-André Hamelin; the Schubert specialist Paul Lewis; Janina Failkowska, finally making an appearance in Berlin; Yevgeny Sudbin making a rare appearance in Germany; and the 20-year-old "Visionary of the keys" Benjamin Grosvenor, who has already caused a sensation at last year's Berliner Klavierfestival.
